The low pressure heat sealer is used to determine the sealability of coated paper, aluminum and plastic films as well as other heat sealable composite films.
With the NDS you can quickly determine the optimal sealing parameters for these types of film, which are used on appropriate packaging machines for pressure-sensitive packaged goods.
The NDS was designed to simulate low-pressure heat sealability under practical conditions. The two key sealing parameters - temperature and time - can be specified precisely on the NDS. With standard weight set (5 x 214 g) the NDS works at a sealing pressure of 0.35 N / cm2.
This sealing pressure was adapted to the special practical conditions that occur when wrapping pressure-sensitive packaged goods. The special construction of the weight set guarantees exact parallelism and a uniform sealing pressure over the entire sealing surface at all stations. The five separately adjustable, self-optimizing PID temperature controllers ensure high accuracy of the selected sealing temperature. This enables you to achieve excellent reproducibility of your tests with the NDS.
